It is an honor to have the words of my poem (Fence Posts Made of Stone) paired up with these striking photographic images of the post-rock country of central Kansas, as captured by photographer Bill Patterson. Bill prepared this video montage with the poem as inspiration. They say a picture is worth a thousand words, but that can't be true… because these pictures have left me speechless.
